I moved here a little over a year ago from Albuquerque.I really love Redlands. It is lacking a few things but all in all there are things to do here. If you bar hop there is the "downtown".I really like the Vault and the Underground. But for beer on tap there is the Falconer and then theres Charlie Jewels.I am a little older than most in the crowd but they seem gracious, and well I can still rock with the best of them.
I would though like to see a different bunch of restaraunts come in,and thats where I will be adding to it in the coming years.Hopefully. But anyway if anyone wants to stop and have a beer or a glass of wine ,Hey i'm here for you.So hey lets talk Redlands.

Re: What to do in Redlands.
Wed, May 2, 2007 - 1:09 AMYeah. Redlands has never really held much interest for me beyond Market Night and the bead store that opened up last year. I do know that there is at least a small bellydance scene but I have only seen one troupe there at market night one time.

Re: What to do in Redlands.
Wed, May 2, 2007 - 8:28 AMMarket night is pretty cool,I'm hoping to instigate a drum circle here so we can drum and dance.
It has real potential,it just lacks focus. :) -

Re: What to do in Redlands.
Wed, May 2, 2007 - 8:55 AMYeah.
I guess Redlands, although growing, is very tight knit in community. That is the hardest part. I mean I mostly see older retired folks out there and young kids (many that attend the University) there. A drum circle might be a good thing but can we get people into it enough to become PART OF the drum circle? It is worth a shot.

Re: What to do in Redlands.
Wed, May 2, 2007 - 9:08 AMI feel there is a community waiting to happen here that is just below the surface and it is worth a shot.
Indeed there is a load of old people here, and students, but I just cant see there being no one to play with.
If not, at least it was a valiant effort.
There is two circles i know of in Claremont but I would like to see Redlands gain a sub-culture.
